The research on double-shoulder schoolbags mainly focuses on two aspects: one is objective evaluation, such as the pressure at different contact positions and the stability when carrying; the other is subjective evaluation, such as fit and comfort.
The staff of Shanghai Fengyou Biomechanics Laboratory used the SPI vest pressure distribution test system and the Qualisys 3D motion capture system to conduct functional tests and collect relevant data for two KLART elastic decompression backpacks and a control group schoolbag (the test subject is not displayed due to copyright issues).

The SPI vest-style pressure distribution test system can detect the pressure at different positions when the subject is carrying the schoolbag. The sensor is composed of a soft resistance woven fabric. When the sensor is under pressure, the circuit is turned on to obtain the pressure value through the change of resistance. The software will display it in two-dimensional and three-dimensional images, allowing us to see the pressure change more intuitively.
Qualisys 3D motion capture system is used to detect the movement of the trunk when carrying the schoolbag through optical technology implementation. Optical motion capture generally requires pasting reflective points at key positions of the target object, and using high-speed infrared cameras to capture the movement trajectory of the reflective points on the target object, so as to monitor the movement of the trunk when carrying the schoolbag.
It can be seen from the collected data that the pressure of the KLART elastic decompression schoolbag during exercise is lower than that of the ordinary schoolbag (the lower the average pressure on the shoulder, the smaller the force on the shoulder). When running, the KLART elastic decompression schoolbag has a lower range of shaking from side to side and higher stability than the ordinary schoolbag.
